Society has created an ocean of dangerous myths that drown would-be entrepreneurs. We’re tired of watching “hustle porn” on Instagram, attending startup events, and having no one explain to us how actual fundraising and product development work. Business schools have failed our nation at teaching people how to start a company. The whole, “write a business plan” thing isn’t cutting it. Some books can be great, but which ones? Which parts are most important? And how long is that going to take you to read them all?
It can be consumed in a single weekend if so desired, requires no application, and you can start anytime you want. It’s the accumulation of a decade’s worth of classes, lessons, hardships, and wins by our startup accelerator (which has invested in literally hundreds of early-stage companies). It will prove itself to be the best investment in your venture you could make, or in that of your growth as a founder.
AlphaBlox is a crucial first step for any entrepreneur. It gets to the heart of what challenges an entrepreneur faces and how to be prepared for success.
Do you wish you could launch sooner, and faster? Don't you think purchasing this course, designed to give founders more direction and a new set of priorities, could take months off the time it takes you to get to the finish line? How much is that time worth to you?
The only thing I'm mad about is that I didn't have access to this six months ago. It would have saved me tens of thousands of dollars preventing mistakes they made super obvious in the curriculum.
Do you think a team that has helped successfully launch hundreds of startups & small businesses, doing millions of dollars in annual sales, has even a small chance of giving you a fantastic ROI on your $1,000? 😂
Alphablox was everything I needed to know and nothing of what I didn't. I've already gone through it twice and plan to go through it again in a couple of months when I'm even farther along.
AlphaBlox Plus is three phone consultations in addition to the online course. The advantages are simple: we can provide a sounding board, advice, and accountability to your progress. We’re special because we’ve helped launch over three hundred companies through our formal accelerator. So we have unprecedented pattern recognition that few business executives could match. When you need to be told to go faster – we won’t hesitate. When you need to be told your ideas are too bloated and needs to be simplified – we’ll tell you. When you’re kicking butt and need some validation that isn’t from your mom – we’ll do that too!
We will literally give you all your money back. This allows entrepreneurs that are early in our application process to somewhat start our curriculum without feeling like they’re going to end up paying for our programming twice.
There are two good answers for this. If you don’t live in Kansas, Missouri, or Oklahoma, AlphaBlox is the closest thing you’ll get to BetaBlox. AlphaBlox is our premier digital product, BetaBlox is our accelerator, and gamma is our services arm that helps entrepreneurs at each stage. But, a much better answer to this question is…No, not even close. There are a few major distinguishing factors:
1. BetaBlox is dramatically more intensive. Longer. In person. With a substantially bigger emphasis on funding and community.
2. It’s priced very very differently. AlphaBlox is cash, and a relatively small amount of it. BetaBlox is equity.
3. BetaBlox entrepreneurs also get access to AlphaBlox for free. Right on day one. We use it to get them up to speed very quickly so we can treat them all at more advanced levels of entrepreneurial education.
4. With BetaBlox we essentially join their founding team, and they receive most of the perks associated with such a statement. AlphaBlox would best be used to get to a level of traction to find a partner or cofounder like BetaBlox in your city.
Yep! Just give them your password and you're all set. Please only share this with people on your team. Beyond that would hurt our feelings.
We’re obviously biased, but yes. From a time and money spent standpoint, we make business schools look archaic. Not only do we not follow the average school’s curriculum, but think they take too long to get to the point, and obviously cost way more money than they should.
Have you ever heard the saying, “you don’t pay for a lawyer’s time, you pay for their time in law school.” It’s kinda like that. Before we launched AlphaBlox we had been in business investing in startups for a decade and own part of hundreds of them. Due to that process, we have an unfair amount of experience when it comes to assessing how you should proceed. So you’re not paying for our time, per se, but instead, all the pattern recognition that comes from this many reps.
Contractually, we put 45 minutes on paper. Just to make sure if any tech bumps during the phone call happen, no one is too upset. But the intent is for them to be “one hour”. We just need a little buffer sometimes in-between consults.
You will be automatically emailed login instructions to a private portal where you can start consuming the classes.
If you’ve purchased AlphaBlox Plus you’ll be contacted within three business days to start setting up your appointments. But we would massively prefer if you’ve completely consumed the virtual accerlator before your phone calls happen. They’ll be dramatically more constructive.
You will need to coordinate with our team as far as scheduling.
You will need to write an executive summary before your first consultation so your appointed consultant can quickly download information about your company (for which we’ll provide templates).
Before session number two and three you need to write your consultant with pertinent updates and a list of questions that will act as the outline to your meeting. If you don’t do these things the consultant will still be able to provide a great deal of value, but not as great as it will be if you follow these guidelines.
The production quality of the videos was about ten times higher than any other type of 'business' classes I've ever seen. And the slides don't look like ordinary PowerPoint slides, they look like they were done by a very highly qualified graphic designer. This made it so much easier to consume!
Is it fair to say that a program like this could increase the likelihood that your business builds itself a stronger foundation? If you're building something that's going to be worth millions of dollars, like a house or a company, how much is a strong foundation worth to you?
After a decade of advising startups, we realized there were roughly ten topics that were radically important to our teams’ success, yet were either taught wrong by society or not taught at all. We’ve taken those things and presented them in video format, and in the spirit of psychology (and academia), we’ve created different mediums and strategies for conditioning these topics into your brains.
We start by having one of our investors explain the topic in as structured and human of a way as possible.
We alternate between him talking and beautifully designed slides to reinforce those same topics. While you’re listening you can see the info-graphic breakdown of each topic.
At the culmination of every major theme throughout the curriculum we stop and do a deep dive into one of our startups and how they successfully navigated through that topic.
In-between classes, we breakout into video-based discussions with several of our current cohort entrepreneurs as they discuss those same topics, but more casually, almost like a conversation.
And lastly, we have interactive case studies that will allow you and/or your team to test how well you’re retaining this information.
Do you think that a program like this, created by a startup incubator with an 88% survival rate, could increase your company's likelihood of making it by just 1% or more? When it comes to the life of your business, what is the insurance on that 1% worth?
